This particular book tells of the murders of 4 innocent teens at the hands of two monsters. While we never get to understand exactly why this crime occurred (the murderer never gave motive), we are taken into the minds of the victim’s families and what their takes are /5().

Never See Them Again is the accountable novel of four slain young adults and the three years that it took to solve the case. Although this was not an easy book to read since the details were so heart wrenching it was an honest portrayal written with compassion.

Phelps never criticized the slain, /5. The author is respectful of the police, never suggesting they are incompetent, but he points out shortcomings of the investigation with admirable detail. The book is primarily a police procedural, but it is also a tribute to the four murder victims.4/4(24).

This is a great true crime book. The only piece that was missing for me was the exact motive. We have assumptions but the killer never truly confessed the crime or gave reasons why she did it. Very interesting read and I highly recommend it. Overall Rating: Would I read again: Maybe, /5().
